We are proud of Dr. Paul McCord for his leadership as President of the Rotary Club of Cleveland’s Rotary Foundation. The Rotary Foundation awarded 11 grants totaling nearly $44,000 in grants to help promote literacy and wellness in Cleveland & Bradley County.
The grants included the Rotary Club’s dictionary project, through which students in both the city and county schools received dictionaries to help them in school.
“We feel so good to help many in our community through these grants,” said Dr. Paul McCord, Rotary Club Foundation president.
The funds came mainly from the Rotary gala, the club’s largest fundraiser for the year. Eighteen organizations qualified for the grants, and the foundation narrowed that down to 11 to receive funds from the club.
